Service Specials

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take repair orders from the dispatcher and move cars to the proper stall area.
  • Do work as outlined on the repair order with accuracy and efficiency according to all dealership and factory standards and guidelines.
  • Perform accurate and swift diagnosis of problems and fix them when authorized to do so.
  • Obtain needed parts through communication with the Parts Department.
  • Turn in parts that have been tagged and set aside when the job is under warranty or when the customer requests such.
  • Let the service advisor know of any changes in your schedule, such as when there is more work to be done, when the work outlined isn’t needed, or when more time is needed to complete the work.
  • Maintain professional documentation of work performed.
  • Ensure repairs have met the customer’s needs with a road test.
  • Perform quality checks on work performed.
  • Come to all training classes.
  • Stay current on all factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle.
  • Understand and perform all safety and housekeeping procedures and policies.
  • Know and follow all regulations, be they federal, state, or local, regarding service and repair work..
