Looking for something different in your next vehicle, but still practical for your day-to-day? The upcoming 2026 Kia EV4 Hatchback might just be your perfect fit. This electric car doesn’t slot neatly into any one category, which makes it stand out on the road and in your driveway. If you’ve been waiting for an EV that isn’t just another crossover or another sedan, the EV4 gives you the best of both, with a style all its own and the functionality you need in Tilton and beyond.

Striking Design with Everyday Function

The Kia EV4 grabs attention with its distinctive profile. Though Kia officially calls it a sedan, the EV4’s tall stance and angular fastback roofline hint at something sportier and more spacious. Despite its hatchback appearance, it actually features a traditional trunk with deep storage, ideal for your weekend haul from BJ’s or grabbing takeout from Casamigo’s.

Inside, the EV4 impresses with a 30-inch-wide screen surface divided into three practical displays, offering a seamless digital experience. One of the highlights is the customizable middle display, which can show climate, media, or even your favorite NBA team when parked. And with a free-floating center console and AI-powered voice assistant, your commute down Main Street or up Route 106 becomes more convenient than ever.

Efficient Power with Plenty of Range

Every Kia EV4 comes with a front-wheel-drive, single-motor setup delivering 201 horsepower. Depending on the trim, you’ll get different battery options:

  • Light Trim: 58.3 kWh battery, up to 235 miles of range
  • Wind & GT-Line Trims: 81.4 kWh battery, up to 330 miles of range

Charging is quick, too. Even the entry-level Light model can charge from 10% to 80% in just 29 minutes using a DC fast charger, fast enough to top up while shopping at the Tanger Outlets. And since it uses a Tesla-style charging port, plugging in at Superchargers around Franklin or Laconia is a breeze.

Practicality Meets Personality

Kia isn’t afraid to make a statement with the EV4. Its dramatic lighting, sculpted sides, and fastback rear lend it a look that feels more upscale than you’d expect. Yet it’s still practical enough to pick up the kids from Winnisquam Middle or take the family to Smitty’s Cinema on the weekend.

Another standout feature is its vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, letting you power external devices from the car itself. Whether you’re charging a laptop at Hall Memorial Library or lighting up your tailgate at a Highland Mountain Bike Park event, the EV4’s utility goes far beyond commuting.
